Vallox filters are an important part of the ventilation system of the recuperator, responsible for the quality of the air supplied to the premises. The frequency of replacing Vallox filters depends on the ambient air pollution and operating conditions. It is recommended to replace the filters every 3-6 months. The best indicator is a visual inspection. If the filters are dark, gray or clearly contaminated, they must be replaced immediately. In cities and during the intense pollen season, the replacement interval may be shorter.

Dirty Vallox recuperator filters restrict air flow and force the unit to work harder. This can increase electricity consumption and reduce air filtration efficiency. Regular filter maintenance allows you to maintain stable ventilation system operation and a comfortable microclimate indoors.

Installation and maintenance of Vallox filters is simple and does not require special tools. To replace the filters, it is enough to open the covers on the front of the recuperator, remove the old filters and install new ones according to their purpose. The F7 filter is installed on the outside air intake side, and the G4 filters are installed on the supply and exhaust air sides. Some Vallox models have electronic filter contamination indicators, but even without them, it is enough to check the filters every three months.
